Background

Jocelyn is an experienced city planner with extensive public and private sector planning, zoning, and commercial real estate experience. In addition to managing projects, she leads the firm's business development.

Before joining ZoneCo in 2020, Jocelyn worked for a zoning consulting firm and, before that, at the global real estate firm CBRE, where she was a strategist for global real estate portfolios, developing client strategies on locational decisions, workspace optimization, and property consolidation, and advising on zoning and land use. From 2012 to 2015 she was a planner with the City of Cincinnati, where she worked on the development of the city's award-winning form-based code and award-winning comprehensive plan.

Leadership

Jocelyn is a co-founder and past chair of the Midwestern Chapter of the Congress for the New Urbanism (CNU Midwest). She was elected to the CNU National Board in 2021 and served until 2023. She believes in acting locally: she has served on her community council, as a board member of her local community development corporation, and as chair of a board of zoning appeals.

She speaks regularly on zoning and housing, including at the APA National Planning Conference, the National League of Cities Housing Supply Accelerator convening, the Greater Ohio Policy Center, CNU 30, and the Ohio Economic Development Association.

Off the clock

Jocelyn was born and raised in Ontario, Canada, and moved to the United States to pursue collegiate athletics. A former Division I athlete, she previously held the University of Cincinnati records for the indoor 800-meter and 1,000-meter races.
