Beavercreek Steering Committee reviews the draft code
On October 22, Todd Kinskey attended a Zoning Rewrite Steering Committee meeting in Beavercreek, Ohio, to give a progress report and discuss major changes to the draft code. The Steering Committee provided feedback on three significant changes in addition to their general feedback on six chapters of the draft code.

Centerville’s first Technical Advisory Committee meeting
ZoneCo held Technical Advisory Committee Meeting #1 for the City of Centerville, Ohio zoning code rewrite on October 19. The committee will help guide the new code as drafting moves ahead with historic preservation partners Gray & Pape.

New York City adopted the first comprehensive zoning ordinance in 1916. By January 1933, 1,236 municipalities in all 48 states had followed. Our new interactive map, built from the U.S. Commerce Department’s 1933 survey of zoned municipalities, shows the template traveling year by year.
