The work
Cincinnati is ZoneCo's home. Our office is at 1502 Vine Street, in the heart of the Over-the-Rhine Historic District, one of the largest intact historic districts in the country.
From 2010 to 2014 Sean Suder served as Chief Counsel of Land Use and Planning for the City of Cincinnati, representing the city and its officials in all planning, land use, zoning, historic preservation, and building matters. He was lead counsel for the Cincinnati Form-Based Code and the Historic Preservation Ordinance.
Recognition
The Cincinnati Form-Based Code received a 2016 CNU 24 Charter Award from the Congress for the New Urbanism. The Historic Preservation Ordinance received a 2012 award from the Cincinnati Preservation Association.
Other Cincinnati work
The firm's Cincinnati work also includes the city's Land Development Code, an electronic sign ordinance, and the Over-the-Rhine Historic District Guidelines. In 2022 Sean spoke on the Form-Based Code update at the Invest in Neighborhoods Neighborhood Summit.
