The work
Evanston engaged ZoneCo for a zoning equity assessment ahead of its code rewrite. In 2021 Evanston Now reported that the zoning code would get an equity review.
In October 2024, as part of Envision Evanston, the consultant zoning report called for a rewrite of the code, covered by both the Evanston RoundTable and Evanston Now.
